On the afternoon of April 25, Nguyen Van Loi, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Head of provincial National Assembly deputy delegation received the Republic of Korea (RoK)'s Daejeon Mayor Lee Jang- Woo and his delegation. The delegation also included RoK enterprises in search of investment opportunities in Binh Duong.

At the meeting, leaders of the two provinces together reviewed the tradition of cooperation and friendship between the two localities since 2005. Provincial Party Committee Secretary Nguyen Van Loi informed the delegation of the local results on socio-economic development and investment attraction as well as development strategies in the coming time.
Binh Duong is learning the model of Deajeon city in building a science and technology park to serve the local economic development in the new period. Provincial Party Secretary expressed his hope that in his position as mayor, Mr.Lee Jang-Woo will support Binh Duong province in promoting and attracting enterprises to develop the field of science-technology and new generation industries.

Mr. Lee Jang-Woo thanked provincial leaders for their warm welcome to the delegation. 2025 is the year marking the 20th anniversary of the two localities signing a cooperation and friendly relationship. Therefore, the Mayor of Deajeon City hopes that there will be activities between the two sides to expand cultural, artistic, sports exchanges... to mark this fine relationship. Mr. Lee Jang-Woo said that he would continue supporting and cooperating with Binh Duong in the local green economic transformation and sustainable development, including a green ecosystem, focusing on developing high-tech fields...
At the meeting, Mr. Vo Van Minh and Mayor Lee Jang-Woo discussed plans to prepare for the upcoming meeting; exchange activities to celebrate 20 years of friendship and investment cooperation between Deajeon city and Binh Duong province that will take place in 2025.
