On the morning of March 19, Nguyen Loc Ha, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice-Chairman of provincial People's Committee, visited and congratulated the Feast of Bishop Giuse Nguyen Tan Tuoc of Phu Cuong Diocese.
On behalf of provincial leaders, Mr. Ha informed Bishop Giuse Nguyen Tan Tuoc of some outstanding results done by the province over the past years, especially the local consensus and determination in the fight against Covid-19 pandemic. Up to now, the province has controlled the pandemic basically. The result also came from contributions by Bishop Giuse Nguyen Tan Tuoc. With his guidance and propaganda, Catholic followers strictly complied with regulations as well as measures against Covid-19 pandemic as recommended by the health sector, joining hands with the province to well perform this task.
Mr. Ha also expressed his wish that Bishop Guise Nguyen Tan Tuoc will continue guiding and encouraging Catholic followers to promote the strength of the great national unity bloc, joining hands in building up a more and more thriving Binh Duong; further support the local authorities at all levels to well carry out the local Covid-19 prevention and control in the new context.
Bishop Giuse Nguyen Tan Tuoc thanked the delegation for visiting and congratulating his feast as well as the fine sentiments of provincial leaders for him and Catholic followers during the past time. He also expressed his high consensus and was very delightful at the results achieved by the province in socio-economic development, especially in the fight against Covid-19 pandemic. He said that he will continue guiding and encouraging the local Catholic followers to live with the motto of "good life and good religion"; continue well implementing measures against Covid-19 pandemic; join forces to build up a better and better society and a more and more prosperous locality.
