Dang Minh Hung, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee yesterday had a working session with provincial Traditional Medicine Hospital about its activities over the past time.
In 2016, the hospital provided more than 1,400 people with in-patient treatment or 67.21% of the year’s plan. The figure in the first half of 2017 was 666 people, up 4.88% compared to the same period of 2016 or 30.41% of the year’s plan. The hospital now has a total of 130 staff with high professional knowledge, 36.69% of whom have education at college, university and postgraduate levels.
Addressing the session, Mr.Hung acknowledged the efforts by the hospital’s staff while requiring the hospital to improve its operational quality, consider and advise provincial People’s Committee on upgrading its material facilities. He also suggested provincial Department of Health and Department of Home Affairs to recheck the hospital’s organization apparatus and the healthcare sector’s policies in order to ensure the lives of the hospital’s staff and absorb more qualified physicians.
