Most Venerable Thich Hue Thong reported that the 9th National Buddhist Congress, term 2022-2027, was held successfully, including contributions from Binh Duong Buddhism. At the congress, Binh Duong Buddhism had 6 members elected to Executive Board of Vietnam Buddhist Sangha tenure 2022-2027.
Namely, Most Venerable Thich Hue Thong was selected by the congress to assume the position of Vice Chairman of Executive Board, Head of Central Legal Committee of Vietnamese Buddhist Sangha tenure 2022-2027. On this occasion, ranks of many monks and nuns of Binh Duong Buddhism were also promoted to Most Venerable Master, Venerable Master, Head Nun, and Nun.
Most Venerable Thich Hue Thong said that to have the today achievements, Binh Duong Buddhism in general, and the Most Venerable Thich Hue Thong in particular, have received the attention and support from provincial leaders.
