Early January 13, provincial Labor Union held a departure ceremony for the "Sentimental spring train” program 2023, seeing off 130 Trade Union members and workers with extremely difficult circumstances to return their hometowns for Tet.
The ceremony was attended by Nguyen Hoang Thao, Permanent Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Van Loc, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee’s Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee; members of provincial Party Standing Committee.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr.Loc emphasized that over the past years, provincial Party Committee and People's Committee focused on directing agencies, departments, mass organizations and mobilizing businesses to create all conditions and take care of laborers, especially in terms of policies on housing, healthcare, culture, education, employment, services, other essential needs... Especially, during the Tet (Lunar New Year) festival 2023, the province supported VND46.5 billion from the State budget on taking care of laborers. Provincial Trade unions at all levels also spent over VND 300 billion on visiting and giving gifts for trade unionists and workers with extremely difficult circumstances...
On behalf of provincial leaders, Mr. Loc wished all trade unionists and workers a happy and peaceful Tet with relatives in their hometowns while wanting them to come back to work after Tet on time.
