Provincial leaders visit and congratulate sports coaches and athletes on the eve of Lunar New Year festival

On the morning of January 24, Bui Minh Thanh, Vice Chairman of Binh Duong Provincial People's Committee, visited coaches, athletes, and sports associations and federations in the province to wish them a happy New Year ahead of the Tet Festival 2025.

Mr. Bui Minh Thanh listened as leaders of Provincial Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism reported on the achievements of Binh Duong athletics in 2024. Among these accomplishments, the most notable are the five gold medals won at the World Championships and three gold medals at the Asian Championships achieved by the athletes.

Binh Duong sports achieved outstanding results in high-performance and key sports thanks to the great attention of leaders at all levels, along with methodical and scientific management, with strategic vision, and investment orientation towards increasingly high quality and efficiency.

Mr. Bui Minh Thanh recognized the achievements of the province's sports in the past year and highly appreciated the efforts and struggles of the athletes in 2024.

On the eve of the new spring 2025, Mr. Bui Minh Thanh sent his wishes for health, success, luck, and hoped the coaches and athletes of provincial sports to continue maintaining their form and bring even higher achievements to Binh Duong sports as well as Vietnamese sports in 2025.
