The delegation visited four 100-year-old people in Lai Uyen town and three elderly people in Lai Hung commune; at the same time, sent New Year wishes all the the elderly and their families a new year full of good health and happiness; and hoped the elderly have happy and healthy lives, always be exemplary models for their children and grandchildren.
In Phu Giao district, another provincial delegation also visited, gave gifts to aged persons, including: Dang Thi Chuyen in Bo La hamlet, Phuoc Hoa commune; Pham Thi Loan in Quarter 6, Phuoc Vinh town, and Do Thi Sap in Phu Thinh 2 hamlet, An Thai commune. The delegation visited and wished the elderly persons to continue living a long, happy and healthy life together with their children and grandchildren, wished them to constantly uphold the spirit of "older age, higher will"; "older age, shining example", encourage their families and the community to live usefully and responsibly. The delegation presented each old person a gift worth 2.630 million VND; in which 1.200 million VND in cash and items worth 1.430 million VND.
