Provincial leaders visit, congratulate provincial Buddhist Shangha on occasion of Lord Buddha’s 2567th birthday

Early May 31, Nguyen Hoang Thao, Pernament Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee; Vo Van Minh, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Van Loc, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of provincial People's Council, Head of provincial People's Committee’s Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee, visited and congratulated the Executive Board of provincial Buddhist Sangha, dignitaries, monks, nuns and followers in the province on the occasion of Lord Buddha’s 2567th birthday.

On behalf of provincial leaders, Mr. Thao expressed his deep gratitude for the companionship of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha to the province, with all-level authorities over the past time. He also acknowledged that provincial Buddhist Sangha has always paid attention to building up a strong and united religious organization, making positive contributions to the local development. He congratulated Most Venerable Thich Hue Thong, Vice-Chairman of the Executive Council, Head of the Legal Department of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha Central Committee, Head of provincial Buddhist Sangha on well fulfilling the role assigned by the Central Committee of the Vietnamese Buddhist Sangha while wanting that he will further guide and lead provincial Buddhist Sangha to accompany, develop, unite and do many good things for the society. On the occasion of the Lord Buddha’s 2567th birthday, Mr.Thao wished provincial Buddhist Sangha, dignitaries, monks, nuns and followers Buddhists a healthy, joyfull and happy Buddha's birthday season.

Most Venerable Thich Hue Thong expressed his happiness and respectfully thanked provincial leaders for their love for provincial Buddhist Sangha over the past time. He said that with the 40-year history of establishment and development, provincial Buddhist Sangha was awarded the first-class Labor Medal by the State President. This is the pride of provincial Buddhist Sangha. He also affirmed that this achievement always had the attention and creation of favorable conditions from provincial leaders so that provincial Buddhist Sangha completed its tasks over the past 40 years. Provincial Buddhist Sangha has always been grateful to provincial leaders over periods, especially during this year's Lord Buddha’s birthday celebrations with the presence of provincial leaders. In the spirit of solidarity and harmony, provincial Buddhist Sangha always insists on the stance of Vietnamese Buddhism: "Dharma - Nationality - Socialism", accompanying the nation. Provincial Buddhist Sangha will further accompany the country and make more efforts to be able to contribute to stabilizing and developing the province.

On this occasion, Most Venerable Thich Hue Thong sent his best wishes for health to provincial leaders, further leading the province to the stable development so that the local people get prosperous and happy, in which there is the resonance of Buddhism.
