Early February 25, a delegation from provincial Party Committee, led by Nguyen Van Loi, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee and Head of provincial National Assembly Deputy Delegation, visited former leaders of provincial Department of Health on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Vietnamese Doctors' Day (February 27, 1955 – February 27, 2025).

Accordingly, the delegation visited and extended greetings on Vietnamese Doctors' Day to the family of People's Physician, doctor Huynh Van Nhi, former Director of provincial Department of Health, former Vice Chairman of provincial People's Committee and former Chairman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee.
On behalf of provincial leaders, Secretary of provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Loi acknowledged and highly appreciated valuable contributions by doctor Huynh Van Nhi and the local healthcare workforce as a whole. *On the same morning, Nguyen Loc Ha, Permanent Vice Secretary of provincial Party Committee visited and extended greetings to doctors and medical staff of the Health Station of Binh Nham ward in Thuan An city.
During the visit, doctor Quan Thi Bich Hanh, Head of Binh Nham ward’s Health Station reported on the station’s performance in implementing the national healthcare program, providing primary healthcare services to residents, particularly in preventive medicine and food safety assurance.
Acknowledging and commending significant contributions by grassroots healthcare workers, Mr. Ha shared his understanding of the challenges faced by medical staff and doctors over the past time. He expressed his hope that the health station’s contingent will continue their dedication to the profession, overcome difficulties, enhance their expertise and actively contribute solutions to further improve the quality of healthcare services for people.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Loc extended his congratulations and recognition, praising the efforts by doctors and medical staff of Ben Cat city’s Medical Center to the local public healthcare. He urged the center to further uphold the proud traditions of the healthcare sector, strengthen its operational functions, and enhance the quality of public healthcare. Mr. Loc emphasized that Binh Duong remains committed to prioritizing the healthcare sector by allocating resources for investment, modernizing infrastructure and equipment and focusing on building a highly qualified medical workforce. These efforts aim at meeting the demands of development in the new era while reinforcing the role and reputation of the healthcare system in providing quality healthcare services to the public.
*Also on the morning of February 25, provincial delegation, led by Bui Thanh Nhan, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee and Head of provincial Party Committee’s Propaganda-Education and Mass Mobilization Commission visited and extended greetings to medical staff and doctors at the Health Station of Dat Cuoc commune in North Tan Uyen district.

During the visit, representative of Dat Cuoc commune’s Health Station reported on the station’s operations to the delegation. The facility was newly constructed in February 2022 and officially put into use in August 2023, featuring fully equipped functional rooms such as emergency and resuscitation, medical examination, medication distribution, postpartum care, laboratory testing… Currently, the station has six medical staff, four commune-level healthcare workers responsible for national healthcare and population programs, four nutrition collaborators and seven population collaborators. In 2024, the station provided medical examination and treatment for 9,190 patients, achieving 102.11% of its target while the rate of health insurance participation among residents reached 96.03%.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Nhan extended his congratulations to all medical staff, doctors and employees of Dat Cuoc communal Health Station on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Vietnamese Doctors' Day. He also recognized the vital role of the healthcare sector in public health, particularly the contributions of medical staff in disease prevention and control. With new infrastructure and modern equipment, Dat Cuoc communal Health Station should build on its achievements, overcome challenges and ensure high-quality healthcare services for the people, contributing to the mission of protecting, caring for and improving public health from grassroots level.
*On the afternoon of the same day, Bui Thanh Nhan, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee and Head of provincial Party Committee’s Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, along with provincial delegation, visited and extended greetings to all medical staff, doctors and employees of Phu Giao district’s Medical Center.
On behalf of provincial leaders, Mr. Nhan acknowledged and commended significant contributions by grassroots healthcare workers while also expressing empathy for the challenges they have faced. He encouraged all medical staff of Phu Giao district’s Medical Center to remain dedicated to their profession and continuously enhance their expertise. He emphasized that local authorities must always support the district’s healthcare staff to further improve the quality of public health services.
