Provincial leaders visit, offer Tet gifts to policy beneficiary families, elderly Party members, workers and those with difficult circumstances

Early January 29, a delegation of provincial leaders, led by comrade Nguyen Van Loi, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Head of provincial National Assembly deputy delegation visited and gave gifts for policy beneficiary families, elderly Party members,  employees and those with difficult circumstances in Thu Dau Mot city. Joining the delegation were comrade Nguyen Hoang Minh, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Commander of provincial Military Command; comrade Nguyen Van Dong, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of Thu Dau Mot city’s Party Committee and leaders of a number of departments and sectors of the province, leaders of Thu Dau Mot city.

Nguyen Loc Ha, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice- Chairman of provincial People's Committee gives gifts for needy workers living far from home

Accordingly, the delegation visited and offered gifts to heroic Vietnamese mother Nguyen Thi Ruc in Phu Loi ward; elderly Party member Nguyen Van Huu, former Secretary of Thu Dau Mot town’s Party Committee (now Thu Dau Mot city’s Party Committee); comrade Dang Van Long, Secretary of quarter 11’s Party cell in Phu Cuong ward visited and offered gifts to Le Thi Uyen Nhi, a needy worker living away from home in Dai Dang Industrial Park.

Previously, the delegation also participated in a program of giving gifts for poor households, workers living away from home and children with extremely difficult circumstances. At the event, 20 gifts worth VND 1.4 million each worth  were given for 20 children with extremely difficult circumstances. There were also 80 gifts given for the poor and 50 gifts for workers living away from home with difficult circumstances. In addition, 30 disadvantaged households were given TVs worth VND 3.5 million each.

*Early January 29, provincial delegation, led by Nguyen Loc Ha, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice- Chairman of provincial People's Committee visited, extended Tet greetings and offered gifts to workers living far from home, poor children and policy beneficiary families in Thuan An city on the occasion of the Tet (Lunar New Year) festival 2024.

On behalf of the delegation, Mr. Ha extended warm regards to workers living far from home and policy beneficiary families while wishing all families a new year with good health. He also said that all-level Party committees and authorities of the province will continue paying more attention and care for vulnerable people and those with difficult circumstances so that everyone can have Tet, letting no one behind.

On this occasion, provincial leaders presented 150 gifts to workers living far from home, children with difficult circumstances and policy beneficiary families. Each gift included VND 1 million in cash and some necessities, helping people get a warmer Tet. In addition, provincial Red Cross Society donated 120 "Tet of Kindness" gifts to households with difficult circumstances in Thuan An city. Each gift included VND 1 million in cash and necessities worth VND 500,000.

*On the same morning, the delegation visited and extended Tet greetings to the Battalion 3 under the Mobile Police Regiment 25. Here, Nguyen Loc Ha, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice- Chairman of provincial People's Committee extended best regards to officers and soldiers while praising their efforts in preserving and ensuring the local security and order over the past time. He also requested the unit to continue promoting the good traditions of the sector, overcoming difficulties, challenges and successfully completing the tasks assigned by the Ministry of Public Security, provincial Party Committee, provincial People's Committee and the people, ensuring security-order and preserving a peaceful and happy life for the people.

*Early January 29, provincial Red Cross Society coordinated with Thu Dau Mot city to organize the 2024 "Tet of Kindness" program with gifts offered to disadvantaged people in Thu Dau Mot city. The program was attended by Nguyen Thi Le Trinh, Chairwoman of provincial Red Cross Society.

The program gave Tet gifts worth VND 1.4 million each, including VND1mln from  provincial Red Cross Society and a gift worth VND400,000, for 120 households with difficult circumstances. The total value of the program was VND 168 million. It is known that under the 2024 "Tet of Kindness" movement, provincial Red Cross Society has supported Thu Dau Mot city’s Red Cross Society with VND200 million so that the locality has more resources to care for poor people in the city ​​during the 2024 Tet festival.
