Tran Van Nam, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Head of provincial National Assembly delegation yesterday morning led a delegation to visit and offer gifts to policy beneficiary families and revolutionary contributors in TDM city’s Phu Hoa ward on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day. Accompanying Mr.Nam were leaders of provincial Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, Military Command, TDM city and the People’s Committee of Phu Hoa ward.

Particularly, the delegation visited and presented gifts worth VND2million each to 5 families, namely Huynh Thi Chin, born in 1931, a mother of martyr; Nguyen Thi Tu, born in 1982, a mother of martyr; Nguyen Thi Ngoc Anh, a war invalid with the 2/3 disability level; Vo Thi Sau, born in 1932, a revolutionary contributor; Le Van Xo, born in 1944, a revolutionary contributor.
On behalf of provincial leaders, Mr.Nam extended best regards to the local beneficiary policy families while paying tribute to them. He also wanted that they will continue upholding revolutionary traditions, being bright examples for young generations to follow and encouraging their descendants to make contributions to the locality and the nation while instructing the local government to pay more attention to policy beneficiary families and revolutionary contributors.
*The same day, TDM city’s People’s Committee held a ceremony to hand over gratitude houses under the Becamex Dinh Hoa social housing area in Dinh Hoa ward’s quarter 2 to 8 policy beneficiary families and revolutionary contributors.
Attending the ceremony were Tran Van Nam, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Head of provincial National Assembly delegation; Vo Van Minh, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of TDM city’s Party Committee; Dang Minh Hung, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee together with leaders of sectors, departments and mass organizations in TDM city, leaders of Becamex IDC.
Each house of 30 square meters is worth VND149million, including VND40million from the city’s State budget, VND40million from the city’s Father Front Committee and VND60million from Becamex IDC. The city also gave each family a set of wooden tables and chairs.
This was one of practical activities done by the city on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day.
*Early July 21, leaders of Phu Giao district held 11 delegations to visit and present gifts to the local policy beneficiaries and revolutionary contributors.
Among these gifts, 40 gifts worth VND2million each came from the province’s State budget; 410 worth between VND1million and VND1.5million each from the district’s State budget for heroic Vietnamese mothers, war invalids, sick soldiers…
The district will also organize a get-together and offer additional 200 gifts worth VND360,000 each to participating policy beneficiary families.
