Provincial leaders visit, present Tet gifts to policy beneficiary families, the poor and army units

Early January 22, leaders of provincial Party Committee, People’s Committee, Fatherland Front Committee and sectors organized delegations to visit, offer Tet greetings and gifts to policy beneficiary families, army units and poor households across the province.

*In Di An town, Mai The Trung, Member of the Party Central Committee (PCC), Secretary of provincial Party Committee led a delegation to visit, offer Tet greetings and gifts to 5 outstanding policy beneficiary families in Tan Dong Hiep ward’s quarters of Binh Thung and Noi Hoa.

On behalf of the delegation, Mr.Trung acknowledged great contributions made by policy beneficiary families during the struggle for national freedom and independence, encouraged them to further uphold their revolutionary tradition. Each family was presented a Tet gift worth VND2mln. Prior to that, the delegation visited and presented 50 Tet gifts worth between VND500,000 and VND1mln each to poor households and children in Binh An ward.

The same day, the delegation also visited and extended Tet greetings to the Battalion 43, the Battalion 45 under the Missile Regiment stationed in Di An town’s Tan Binh ward and Tan Uyen district’s Tan Phuoc Khanh township; paid a visit to High Command of  Army Corps 4.

At the visiting places, Mr.Trung wished officers and soldiers a happy New Year while hoping that they would further uphold heroic traditions, excel at training and be ready for fighting and maintaining a peaceful environment.

*Pham Van Canh, Permanent Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People’s Council visited, offered Tet greetings and gifts to 5 policy beneficiary families, 31 poor households, 30 children with difficult circumstances in Ben Cat district.

The delegation also visited and extended Tet greetings to provincial Military Command’s Regiment BB6 stationed in Lai Hung commune.

*A delegation led by provincial People’s Committee Chairman Le Thanh Cung visited and presented Tet gifts to 5 policy beneficiary families in TDM city’s Phu Loi ward.

The delegation also offered 30 Tet gifts to the poor and children with difficulties in the city’s 2 wards of Phu Loi and Phu Hoa. Following this, the delegation visited and extended Tet greetings to officers, soldiers of the Division 7 and officers, teachers and students of provincial Engineer Officers’ Training School.

At the visiting places, Mr.Cung extended his best wishes to officers and soldiers on the occasion of the 2014 traditional Tet (Lunar New Year) festival. He also said that the province would further create favorable conditions for province-based army units.

*Nguyen Thanh Liem, Head of provincial Committee for Public Relations led a delegation to visit, extend Tet greetings and offer 47 gifts worth VND1mln each to poor households in Dau Tieng district’s Thanh Tuyen commune. 20 Tet gifts worth VND500,000 each were also presented the local poor children.

*A delegation, led by Le Van Dan, Head of provincial Party Inspection Committee and Tran Thanh Liem, Chairman of provincial People’s Committee, visited, extended Tet greetings and offered 5 gifts to 5 policy beneficiary families in Thuan An town’s Binh Chuan ward and Hung Dinh commune.

The delegation also presented 50 Tet gifts to poor households and children in Hung Dinh commune. Besides, the delegation visited and extended Tet wishes to officers and soldiers of the Battalion 168 stationed in Thuan An town’s Binh Hoa ward.

*In Tan Uyen district, Huynh Van Nhi, Chairman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee led a delegation to visit, offer Tet greetings and gifts to 5 policy beneficiary families.

The delegation also presented 20 Tet gifts to children with extremely difficult circumstances in Tan Binh commune and 30 other Tet gifts to poor households in communes of Tan Binh, Binh My, Tan Thanh, Hieu Liem and Phu Chanh.

*A delegation, including Tran Thi Kim Van, Vice-Chairwoman of provincial People’s Council, Huynh Ngoc Dang, Deputy Head of provincial NA deputy delegation and other leaders, visited and extended Tet wishes to the Commando Brigade 429 under Commando Service, the Regiment BB 271 under the Military Zone 7’s Infantry Division 5 and the Commando Battalion 60 under the Military Zone 7 in Phu Giao district.

The delegation also visited, extended Tet greetings and offered 5 gifts to 5 outstanding policy beneficiary families in Phuoc Sang commune.
