Provincial leaders visit VND11-billion work funded by people

On the morning of October 2, during his working visit to Ben Cat city, Nguyen Van Loi, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee and Head of provincial National Assembly Deputy Delegation, inspected an ongoing renovation work for the road from DH604 (2-9 road) to DH605 in Ben Cat city’s Chanh Phu Hoa ward. The event was also attended by Nguyen Van Loc, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee and Chairman of provincial People's Council; Nguyen Van Danh, Chairman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee and Vice Chairman of provincial People's Committee together with leaders of relevant departments and agencies.

The project spans 2,200 meters with a 7-meter-wide hot asphalt concrete road surface, total investment of VND 11 billion. This work aims at celebrating Party congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 tenure. Notably, the entire cost of the road construction was funded by the local people.

Expressing his gratitude and appreciation for the community’s contribution to the development of traffic infrastructure, provincial Party Committee Secretary Nguyen Van Loi urged Ben Cat city’s authorities to continue promoting a policy of socializing alley construction in the area in particular and urban rejuvenation in general. He also suggested Ben Cat city to perfect the social mobilization process to ensure that it complies with legal regulations and can be applied in other localities across the province.

*Early October 2, Nguyen Van Loi, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee and Head of provincial National Assembly Deputy Delegation and provincial delegation visited, offered gifts to heroic Vietnamese mother Ung Thi Nung in Ben Cat city’s An Dien ward. He extended best regards to the mother while expressing profound gratitude to her and her family’s sacrifices and contributions during the struggle for national liberation. He wished mother Ung Thi Nung a happy and healthy life, serving as a bright example for future generations.

*On the same morning, Nguyen Van Loi, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee and Head of provincial National Assembly Deputy Delegation visited and encouraged the management board, teachers and Robocon team of My Phuoc secondary school in Ben Cat city before their participation in the 2024 WRO “Earth Allies” final round in Turkey.

Congratulating the team on winning the championship at the 2024 Robotacon WRO competition, Mr. Loi encouraged them to continue researching and perfecting their project to achieve the best results in the upcoming competition. He also asked for provincial Department of Education and Training, Department of Science and Technology, and Youth Union to continue providing opportunities for students to engage in scientific research. Additionally, he requested relevant sectors to offer the best support to My Phuoc secondary school’s Robocon team in the upcoming competition in Turkey. On this occasion, provincial leaders presented gifts and provided financial support of VND 430 million to the team.
