Early October 16, provincial National Assembly Delegation held a special meeting with trade unionists, workers and presented gifts to disadvantaged laborers ahead of the 8th session of the 15th National Assembly (NA). The event was attended by Nguyen Thi Ngoc Xuan, Deputy Head of provincial National Assembly deputy delegation; Nguyen Kim Loan, Chairwoman of provincial Labor Union and leaders of Ben Cat city.
Accordingly, the delegation visited and held discussions at Dai Loc Footwear Joint Stock Company in Rach Bap Industrial Park, with over 4,000 workers and TANS (Vietnam) Co., Ltd. in My Phuoc Industrial Park, with nearly 1,000 workers in the garment industry. During the meeting, many workers wanted provincial authorities at all levels to continue facilitating opportunities for workers to purchase social housing units on an installment basis, allowing them to have stable living conditions and continue having long attachment with their current jobs.
On behalf of provincial NA deputy delegation, Mrs. Xuan encouraged business leaders to continue improving the living conditions of workers, in addition to the general policies of the province. She also acknowledged contributive ideas from businesses and workers regarding housing policies and promised to forward their concerns to provincial leaders to develop optimal solutions for expanding social housing projects in the coming years.
On this occasion, provincial NA deputy delegation and Labor Union presented each company with a commemorative painting and distributed 100 gifts worth VND1million in cash each to workers with difficult circumstances.
