*Provincial leaders visit and extend Tet greetings to health and education sectors
Early January 21, in preparation for the 2025 Tet (Lunar New Year) festival and the 95th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam, comrade Nguyen Van Loi, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee and Head of provincial National Assembly Deputy Delegation, visited and extended Tet greetings to the family of former State President Nguyen Minh Triet. The event was also attended by comrade Nguyen Van Thang, Member of the Party Central Committee and Minister of Finance, along with Comrades Vo Van Minh, Vice Secretary of provincial Party Committee and Chairman of provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Loc Ha, Vice Secretary of provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Van Loc, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee and Chairman of provincial People's Council and Nguyen Minh Thuy, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee and Head of provincial Party Committee’s Organization Commission.
On behalf of provincial leaders, comrade Nguyen Van Loi expressed deep gratitude for contributions by former State President Nguyen Minh Triet to the development of Song Be - Binh Duong province. Provincial Party Committee Secretary also expressed gratitude to the former State President for his consistent attention, support and heartfelt contributions to the local development. Notably, policies such as the "Rolling out flower mats to call for investment" and the "Rolling red carpets for talent attraction" during the tenure of Nguyen Minh Triet as provincial Party Committee Secretary were effectively implemented, playing a crucial role in the province's current growth. Provincial Party Committee Secretary Nguyen Van Loi wished the former State President, his wife and their family good health, happiness, success, a warm and joyful Tet.
*On the same morning, Nguyen Van Loi, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee and Head of provincial National Assembly Deputy Delegation, visited and extended Tet greetings to medical staff and patients at provincial General Hospital. The event was also attended by Nguyen Van Loc, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee and Chairman of provincial People’s Council; Bui Minh Thanh, Vice Chairman of provincial People’s Committee and representatives from relevant departments and sectors.
After hearing a report on the hospital’s operations in 2024, including its efforts in providing medical care services to the public, provincial Party Committee Secretary Nguyen Van Loi commended the hospital's staff for their dedication in overcoming challenges and successfully fulfilling their duties. He praised provincial General Hospital for applying advanced techniques in orthopedic trauma treatment, reconstructive microsurgery, spinal neurology, functional diagnostics…
Notably, provincial Party Committee Secretary praised the hospital’s stroke unit for receiving the "Gold Award" from the World Stroke Organization in recognition of its outstanding achievements in treatment, prevention and training related to stroke care. This milestone not only represents a significant accomplishment for the hospital, but also a breakthrough for the province’s healthcare sector, affirming its excellence in providing high-quality healthcare services.
On the occasion of the 2025 Tet festival, provincial Party Committee Secretary Nguyen Van Loi extended his best wishes for good health to the hospital’s staff while encouraging them to continue their efforts in public healthcare. He also presented gifts and extended warm Tet greetings, wishing the hospital’s staff and their families a joyful, peaceful and happy Tet.

The event was also attended by Nguyen Van Loc, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee and Chairman of provincial People’s Council; Truong Thi Bich Hanh, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee and Head of provincial Party Committee’s Propaganda-Education Commission; Bui Minh Thanh, Vice Chairman of provincial People’s Committee and representatives of related departments and sectors.
Nguyen Thi Nhat Hang, Director of provincial Department of Education and Training, informed the delegation of the implementation of tasks and notable achievements of the education and training sector in 2024. She also proposed provincial leaders to address existing obstacles to help the sector continue improving the quality of education-training and successfully accomplishing the goals set for 2025.
On behalf of provincial leaders, provincial Party Committee Secretary Nguyen Van Loi acknowledged and commended the achievements of the educators, officials and staff of the education and training sector in recent years. He expressed his hope that in the future, teachers would further overcome challenges and dedicate themselves wholeheartedly to their students, fostering the development of the local education and training sector toward smart education and happy schools while also cultivating high-quality human resources to support the province’s socio-economic growth.
