In his speech at the ceremony, Vo Van Minh, Chairman of provincial People's Committee praised provincial police force for their efforts in crime prevention over the past time. According to him, during the year-end period, the economic and social activities in the province and the surrounding region will become more dynamic, which will impact the local security and order situation.

To promptly prevent and crack down on crimes, the local police force will focus on implementing various measures, proactively cracking down on crimes before, during and after the 2025 Tet festival. In order to enhance the effectiveness of crime prevention efforts to ensure security and order during the 2024 Christmas season, 2025 New Year’s Day and Tet festival, the entire political system along with the provincial police will further focus on spreading awareness and strengthening efforts in  crime prevention and combat in the area. Provincial People's Committee Chairman will also strengthen the local police force to thoroughly implement provincial People's Committee’s Directive No. 17 dated, December 12, 2024, on strengthening public security and traffic safety before, during, and after the 2025 Tet festival. Specifically, provincial and local police forces must closely monitor the local situation, prevent crimes proactively and from a distance, and always be on high alert. They are to ensure that no unexpected or sudden incidents occur in any situation, maintaining public security and order so that people can enjoy the Spring Festival and celebrate the Lunar New Year safely and peacefully.

Colonel Ta Van Dep, Director of provincial Police Agency requested heads of local police units to strengthen leadership, mobilize maximum personnel and equipment, and launch coordinated operations to crack down crimes under the plans and strategies of each unit. This is essential to ensure absolute safety in terms of public security, traffic safety and order before, during and after the Tet festival. In addition to intensifying propaganda, police forces in districts and cities must firmly grasp the local situation, increase patrols to cover all areas, regularly conduct preventive questioning and deterrence of criminal and drug-related individuals while tightening inspections of businesses with conditional licenses. Colonel Ta Van Dep emphasized that the local police force must swiftly crack down on criminal gangs involved in illegal activities such as “black credit” lending, cyber fraud, theft, robbery, asset fraud…
