On the afternoon of February 5, provincial Police Agency held a get-together with press agencies to strengthen propaganda on the task of maintaining security-order and build the People's Police force on the occasion of the Tet (Lunar New Year) festival 2024.
According to the assessment of provincial Police Agency, in 2023, the local political security, social order and safety situation was maintained stably. The rate of investigation and discovery of all types of crimes reached 87.44%, exceeding the set target. The number of detected and handled economic, drug crimes increased compared to 2022. The work of building the movement of all people protecting national security achieved many good results. The self-management models on security and order were strengthened, contributing to mobilizing the strength of the entire population in the task of crime prevention in grassroots areas...
Speaking at the conference, Colonel Tran Van Chinh, Deputy Director of provincial Police Agency highly appreciated the role of press agencies in propagandizing crime prevention. He also requested press agencies to further coordinate with provincial Police Agency to promote propaganda on security and order, especially methods and tricks on technology using criminals and the work of building the movement of all people protecting national security.
On this occasion, provincial Police Agency Director awarded the certificates of merit to 5 groups and 28 individuals with achievements in coordinating propaganda work, contributing to maintaining the local security and order last year.
