At the ceremony, colonel Mai Cong Danh, Deputy Director of provincial Police Agency said that upholding the traditions of “mutual affective, mutual love”, “good leaves protect the worn-out ones”, “sharing clothes, sharing rice”, all staff of the agency will actively support flood-hit central people, helping them overcome difficulties, restore production to be able to soon stabilize their lives. With the above spirit, 100% of cadres and soldiers under provincial Police Agency and its branches voluntarily raised funds for these flood victims right after the ceremony.
According to a report by the Central Steering Board for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control, the recent severe flooding following heavy rains in the central region left 30 dead, missing and 30 others injured; destroyed and damaged more than 1,026 houses…The lives of people in two central provinces of Quang Binh and Ha Tinh now face a lot of difficulties.
