Vocational training from industrial promotion
Provincial Industrial Promotion and Development Consultancy Center has given priority to giving vocational training to laborers at enterprises’ requirements. The goal of the program is to create greater income for laborers, contributing to shifting the local rural labor structure under industrialization to satisfy enterprises’ demand for highly skilled human resources.
Since its inception, provincial Industrial Promotion and Development Consultancy Center has trained 6,912 laborers in industries of industrial sewing, woodwork processing, sculpture, welding… with a total expense of VND 4.896bln. After graduation, they were granted certificates of vocational training and introduced to enterprises.
Possibly speaking, the province’s industrial promotion program in vocational training has acted as a bridge between enterprises and laborers, creating a strong change in vocational training. This program has focused on laborers in industries of industrial sewing, woodwork processing, sculpture, welding…
At the vocational training courses from the province’s industrial promotion program, laborers at enterprises have been equipped with knowledge on labor discipline, industrial manner, self-training for better labor productivity. This has contributed to improving the quality of life for laborers, minimizing labor disputes and strikes.
Le Van Chi, Director of provincial Industrial Promotion and Development Consultancy Center said: “To support small and medium-sized enterprises, industrial facilities in the rural region, the center has implemented many industrial promotion programs. The program on vocational training for laborers has contributed to generating jobs for jobless laborers and providing enterprises with skilled laborers. It has brought a practical socio-economic efficiency, providing laborers with basic knowledge, meeting small and medium-sized enterprises’ demand for skilled workforce.
Linking vocational training with enterprises’ demand
With the support from the State’s industrial promotion policies, provincial Industrial Promotion and Development Consultancy Center has teamed up with vocational training facilities to give vocational training to laborers at enterprises. After each training course, laborers are granted the certificates of vocational training. This is actually a skilled workforce, contributing to promoting enterprises’ development.
Located in Di An town’s An Binh ward, Lien Phat Co.Ltd. specialized in manufacturing various sports shoes for export, now has more than 1,000 laborers, most of them are young and unskilled immigrants. On average, the company must train more than 500 laborers with great expenditure.
Upon a source of expenditure for industrial promotion, provincial Industrial Promotion and Development Consultancy over time cooperated with Lien Phat Co.Ltd. to open 6 classes on sewing skills for 300 laborers. So far, trained laborers have been a main workforce, helping the company raise its competitive ability in the international market.
The province’s industrial promotion program on vocational training for laborers has actually gone into life and affirmed its role and importance in job creation, contributing to successfully making the cause of industrialization and modernization in the rural region of Binh Duong.
