Provincial Red Cross Society integrated movements "All people unite for new rural construction, civilized cities", "Prevention of children drowning", held 112 communication events about laws on traffic safety and order with more than 4,800 participants with following contents: Propagating risks, consequences and measures to prevent motorbike and motorcycle accidents; reminding households having trucks to comply with the right loading capacity, checking vehicles to ensure safety in goods transportation; not drinking alcohol while driving; running at right speeds, wearing a standard helmet; not encroaching road pavements for business, wearing life jacket as using waterway transports; not crowding affecting traffic safety and social security.
The association also expanded the safe community model of the first aid team, organized 15 training courses on first aid for traffic accidents for 1,656 officials, youth members and volunteers; opened 262 mobile traffic emergency spots along traffic routes that often had traffic accidents in the province; as a result, giving first aid to 3,456 people including 53 road traffic victims.
