Provincial Red Cross receives more donations to disadvantaged people

On November 4th, China Business Association in Vietnam - Ho Chi Minh City Branch donated VND1 billion to Binh Duong Provincial Red Cross. Receiving the donation was Nguyen Thi Le Trinh, Chairwoman of the Provincial Red Cross; and representatives of relevant departments and units.

Representative of China Business Association in Vietnam - Ho Chi Minh City Branch said that in order to overcome difficulties together, the Association had called on Chinese enterprises in the southern provinces to contribute to the Covid-19 fighting, and has supported and purchased medical equipment donated to organizations and some hospitals in the provinces, cities in the South. This time, through the Provincial Vietnam Central Committee, the Association continued to present the Provincial Red Cross VND 1 billion to support humanitarian activities held by the Red Cross in the coming time.

Nguyen Thi Le Trinh handed over a board acknowledged the Humanitarian Golden Heart and thanked the support of the Vietnam China Business Association - Ho Chi Minh City Branch. From this support, the Provincial Red Cross could organize more humanitarian activities to share difficulties with people affected by covid-19 in the province.

* On the same day, at Provincial Red Cross on 30-4 Street, Phu Hoa ward, Thu Dau Mot City, the 71st "0VND" market was held.

People are happy as being supported at "0VND" market.

The Provincial Red Cross presented vouchers to 500 workers, lottery ticket sellers, people with disabilities, freelance workers having difficult circumstance due to the covid-19 in the province so that they could go to the market. People coming to the market were able to choose many practical items and daily necessities...

Joining hands with the Provincial Red Cross in this "0VND" market, Dau Tieng District Red Cross and Vu Thi Tot in Minh Tan commune (Dau Tieng district) support 1,000 cups of bird's nest tea. In addition, the Provincial Red Cross also received hundreds of kilograms of vegetables, fresh fruits supported by donors to share with needy people at the market.
