Morning September 1st, provincial Red Cross in collaboration with Charity Commission provincial Buddhist Sangha and Ngoc Thuan Buddhist monastery (Thuan An town) offered Red Cross house to the poor in My Phuoc ward, Ben Cat town. The house was given to Mr. Nguyen Van Sen, who was born in 1976 and lives in quarter 2, My Phuoc ward, Ben Cat town. His family was a poor household in the ward. The house had an area of 60m2, corrugated iron roof, enameled tiled floor with a total cost of VND60 million. Ngoc Thuan Buddhist monastery supported VND30 million, Ben Cat town Red Cross and the family contributed the remaining.
On the same day, Fire Prevention & Fighting Police Division No. 5 handed over a compassionate house to Ms. Pham Thi Minh Trang in Vuong Vu hamlet, Tan My commune, North Tan Uyen district. The house had an area of 65m2, tiled floor, cemented walls, corrugated iron roof. Total construction cost was VND65 million including VND30 million contributed by Youth Union branch of Fire Prevention & Fighting Police Division No. 5, and VND35 million of the family. Many enterprises, philanthropists in the area presented gifts and furniture to the family.
