Morning Dec 14, provincial Red Cross in collaboration with Charity Board of provincial Buddhist Sangha visited and presented gifts to the poor, disadvantaged people, and people with disabilities in Nga Bay town, Hau Giang province.
The delegation graciously inquired after daily life and work of the people here. The delegation presented 200 gifts to families in difficult circumstances, people with disabilities, victims of Agent Orange. Each gift worth VND 600,000 included rice, noodles, sugar, MSG, cooking oil ... and VND150,000 in cash. Total gift value was VND120 million.
This was an activity within the movement named “Tet for the poor and victims of Agent Orange" 2016 launched by Vietnam Central Red Cross to strive for 1 million gifts for Lunar New Year 2016 nationwide.
