Early August 17, a delegation from the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, led by Assoc. Prof., Dr. Hoang Phuc Lam, Vice Secretary of the Party Committee and Deputy Director of the Academy, held a working session with Binh Duong provincial Party Committee to assess provincial School of Politics for meeting national standards at level 1. At the working session, To Van Son, Vice Principal of Binh Duong provincial School of Politics, reported to the delegation on achievements in building the school at level 1 standards. Cam Thi Lai, Deputy Director of the Department of Political Schools under Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, reported on the results of reviewing Binh Duong Provincial School of Politics' application for level 1 standard recognition under the Regulation No. 11-QD/TW of the Secretariat and the guidelines of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics on the process of recognizing "Standard Political Schools".
According to the survey and comparison, the evaluation council noted that most of the criteria of Binh Duong provincial School of Politics have met level 1 standards, with 11 criteria exceeding the standards…The delegates also focused on discussing and contributing opinions on the achievements in building Binh Duong provincial School of Politics at level 1 standards. All members of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics' survey delegation agreed to recommend the Central Evaluation Council to recognize Binh Duong provincial School of Politics as the one meeting level 1 standards.
Speaking at the working session, Dr. Nguyen Hoang Thao emphasized the school's determination to achieve level 1 standards, which has not only spread among the school’s staff, teachers and students, but also the province's officials. With high determination, the school has so far met and exceeded the prescribed criteria. The school will acquire contributive ideas from the delegation to implement in the coming time…
Concluding the working session, Assoc. Prof., Dr. Hoang Phuc Lam spoke highly of the school’s determination to achieve level 1 standards. The school's management board organized many workshops to assess the advantages, disadvantages in realizing criteria to propose effective solutions. Assoc. Prof., Dr. Hoang Phuc Lam suggested that after being recognized, the school should maintain its level 1 standards and strive to quickly upgrade to level 2 standards.
