Over the first 6 months of 2020, Provincial Social Policy Bank granted loans to policy families with a total loan of VND794,734 million to 19,407 customers, an increase of VND290,829 million over the same period 2019.
Although the Covid-19 affected negatively borrowers' use of capital, the bank overcame difficulties and improved the efficiency of loan use. Therefore, over the first 6 months, the credit quality was secured. In which, overdue debt accounted for 0.16% of the total (a decrease of 0.01% compared with early 2020). In addition, due to the operations of savings and loan groups, commune-level transaction activities, credit policy were done effectively. In particular, 7/7 units under Provincial Social Policy Bank gained good grades.
In the coming time, Provincial Social Policy Bank continues to consolidate and improve credit quality in the investigation of assessment of borrowers to ensure that funds are delivered to the right people, secured, safe, transparent, and efficiently.
