Association for the Disabled, Orphans and Poor Patients has just marked its 20th
founding anniversary and organized the 4th conference honoring
outstanding disabled people, orphans, poor patients and donors from 2010 to
2013. 
Over the past 20 years, the association mobilized more than VND41bln from organizations and individuals to offer help to nearly 380,000 disable people, orphans and poor patients via many significant programs, including providing free eye surgery for the blind; giving vocational training to disable people and orphans; presenting wheelchairs and scholarships to them…The association also joined hands with the local Party and government to well realize welfare policies, helping disable people get more confident in life.
On this occasion, some collectives and individuals were awarded the Mementoes “For the support cause for disabled people and orphans” from provincial Sponsoring Association for the Disabled, Orphans and Poor Patients (photo) and the certificates of merit from provincial People’s Committee for their excellent performance in support activities for the disabled, orphans and poor patients over the past time.
