Yesterday (May 19), provincial Labor Union held a conference to honor advanced role-models in "Studying and following late President Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality and lifestyle" in the campus of the Di An Train Factory Monument in Di An city. These are the "beautiful flowers" in the "flower garden" of provincial Trade Union in studying and following Uncle Ho's teachings.

Nearly 200 groups and individuals were honored at the Di An Train Factory Monument, which marked the birth of the first Party cell of the working class at the Southern Party Committee. The event also happened at the time of Uncle Ho's birthday, making it more solemn and meaningful. Speaking at the event, Nguyen Kim Loan, Chairwoman of provincial Labor Union said: "Through studying and following Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality and lifestyle, many good ways have appeared. Many outstanding groups and individuals honored at the event were selected from all-level trade unions, representing 1.2 million officials, civil servants and employees. These are the most typical collectives and individuals in the Trade Union system of the province, being fresh flowers in the "flower garden" of provincial Trade Union following Uncle Ho's teachings”.

Over the past 3 years, patriotic emulation movements among workers were enthusiastically and widely deployed by all-level authorities, sectors and trade unions in the province, gradually penetrating into the lives of civil servants and employees. Emulation movements, namely "Study to improve educational and professional qualifications at integration and development requirements", "Thrift practice to combat wastefulness and prevent social evils”, "Good at workplace, responsible for housework"; “Thrift practice and administrative reform”; “building cadres, civil servants, and public employees who are "Loyal, responsible, honest, creative, serving the people"..., were implemented enthusiastically with active response from a large number of employees. The movements of "Working well, working creatively”, "Promoting technical innovation initiatives, rationalizing production" among workers were also launched and emulated actively.
The collectives and individuals honored this time all obtained outstanding achievements. For example, the trade union local of Thye Ming Vietnam Company won the title of “comprehensively excellent Trade Union” for 5 consecutive years and always made efforts for workers. The trade union locals of Chi Hung Co.Ltd. and Yazaki EDS Vietnam Co., were the leading units in emulation movements, took good care of improving the quality of life and spiritual values for trade unionists and employees. Doctor Huynh Thi Trang from Phu Giao district’s Medical Center with the spirit of learning and exploration had more than 10 scientific research projects and all were recognized by the Science Council of provincial Department of Health. She also achieved the title of “Grassroots Emulation Soldier” for many consecutive years, received the certificates of merit from the Prime Minister, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and provincial People's Committee...
In this beautiful "flower garden", there was also Dau Thi Thanh Tam from Motomotion Vietnam Co., Ltd. She achieved excellent results with the company's "Long-term Contribution" title. For 3 consecutive years, she was rewarded for her achievements in the "Working well" emulation movement, trade union activities and was awarded the memento "For the cause of building trade union organizations". In addition, many other outstanding groups and individuals were present at the event. These were also lively and authentic propagandists so that comrades, colleagues and families could study and replicate, offering our beloved Uncle Ho fragrant flowers to celebrate his birthday...

Being imbrued with Uncle Ho's teachings, throughout the operational process, officials, civil servants, trade unionists and employees of Binh Duong province over many generations have constantly made efforts in studying and following Uncle Ho’s thought, morality and lifestyle; innovated operational contents and methods to better meet the practical requirements of the labor movement, especially in the current period. With determination to innovate through specific and practical activities, the Trade Union has contributed to helping workers feel secure in production, contributing their strength and intelligence to building up a more and more prosperous Binh Duong hometown.
