Early November 24, provincial Vietnam-Japan Friendship Association held its second congress for the 2023-2028 tenure. The event was attended by Nguyen Van Loc, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of provincial People's Council; Truong Thi Bich Hanh, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee's Commission for Propaganda and Education.
In the last tenure of 2018-2023, provincial Vietnam-Japan Friendship Association participated in calling for investment into the province. During the 2023-2028 tenure, provincial Vietnam - Japan Friendship Association will further strengthen its organization, innovate operational methods and contents with the motto of "Proactive - flexible - creative - effective", contributing to consolidating, building and promoting the friendly and cooperative relationship between Binh Duong province - Yamaguchi province in particular and Vietnam - Japan in general.
Addressing the congress, Mr.Loc proposed that in the new tenure, the Executive Board of provincial Vietnam - Japan Friendship Association should continue effectively implementing the Secretariat's directive on "Strengthening the Party's leadership, improving the effectiveness of people-to-people diplomacy in the new situation" in association with implementing the local resolutions, directives, plans and action programs; promote propaganda among members and people from all strata about the Party and State's foreign policies in relations with Japan; strengthen foreign information, take advantage of contributions by the Vietnamese community studying, working and living in Japan, former Vietnamese students in Japan, the Japanese business community in Binh Duong to the association's activities…
The congress elected the Executive Board of provincial Vietnam - Japan Friendship Association for the 2023-2028 tenure with 15 members. Nguyen Ai Dung was elected as Chairman of the association for the 2023-2028 tenure.
