Provincial Vovinam Federation gains considerable results

Provincial Vovinam Federation has just organized a conference to review its activities in 2013 and define orientations, tasks for 2014.

In 2013, Binh Duong’s Vovinam martial artists achieved many considerable results at tournaments in the region and the nation. They won 2 gold medals at national Vovinam championship tournament, 2 gold medals at national cup for Vovinam clubs and 4 gold medals at southeastern Vovinam championship tournament.

Binh Duong has so far developed 42 Vovinam clubs with 1,409 martial artists, 50 coaches, 45 assistant coaches, 24 referees (including national-level ones). Especially, with the support of the local functional agencies, provincial Department of Education and Training has agreed to bring Vovinam martial arts into teaching at school in the 2014 and 2015 academic year…

For 2014’s targets, provincial Vovinam Federation will win 2 gold medals at the 2014 national Sports Festival to be held in northern Nam Dinh province; increase the number of Vovinam clubs; call for donors to give financial support for its activities…According to the assessment of provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, provincial Vovinam Federation was one of the province’s most effective federations in 2013.

On this occasion, provincial Vovinam Federation also honored collectives and individuals for their excellent performance in 2013.
