Provincial Women’s Unions at all levels have well realized the Joint Resolution No.01 on “Educating our Juniors Not to Commit Sins and Social Evils” and upheld their role in propaganda and mobilization of cadres and members to well take part in the movement of “defending national security”, contributing to keeping social order and security.

has made many practical activities. Particularly, many programs organized by
provincial Women’s Union have been associated with the Resolution, promoting
the birth of good and effective models in the task of keeping social order,
security and traffic safety…The whole province has so far set up 74 clubs
against prostitution, drug and other social evils with 1,100 members; 56 models
of “Reliable addresses in public places” with 672 members, providing consultancy and helping
handle family contradictions, especially offer help to victims of family
violence cases. 
Provincial Women’s Union and police force launching propaganda against crime
The “Green house” club of Tan Phuoc Khanh township in Tan Uyen district is a typical example for the above thing. It was established in November 2011 with 37 members. Ly Thi Hien, Head of the club said that through many activities, the club has actively propagandized and mobilized members to participate in the movement of “All people take part in defending national security”, respond to the Traffic Safety Month and anti-drug campaigns…Members of the club have also mobilized their families to actively combat social evils, especially family violence and provided the local police agency with vital information sources pertaining to social evils such as gambling, cock-fighting…
Crime denouncement
One of highlights made by provincial Women’s Union is to mobilize women to well realize the fight against crime. Through female lodgers’ clubs, many women have provided the local police force with important information sources about drug, gambling, cock-fighting…for timely prevention and solution.
Mrs.Huyen added that provincial Women’s Union has actively mobilized cadres and members to take part in the fight against crime via many movements; raised their awareness of crime prevention; mobilized parents to educate their children not to commit sins and social evils…In 2012 alone, through the propaganda and mobilization work, people across the province provided the local police force with more than 5,200 information sources relating to social order and security, helping discover nearly 2,500 criminal wrong cases, seize more than 5,000 offenders…
Provincial Women’s Union and its affiliates have also paid more attention to educating and converting wrong doers who are children. Despites difficulties, their cadres and members have made efforts to educate and convert wrong juniors, helping them reintegrate more easily into the community; assisted members to give vocational orientations for their children; mobilized children to go to school and prevented infringements among juniors.
Along with economic development, the province’s social order and security has also got complicated. But in addition to many measures taken, members of provincial Women’s Unions at all levels and residents across the province have made great contributions to the movement of “All people take part in defending national security”, effectively preventing and pushing back various crimes and social evils.
