Provincial Women’s Unions at all levels well realized entrusted tasks and emulation movements among women via concrete programs over the past time.
Over the past 2 years, provincial Women’s Unions at all levels strengthened propaganda work and concretized the Politburo’s Directive No.05 on acceleration of studying and following late President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and lifestyle by practical models. 100% of the local Women’s Union branches were proactive to realize plenty of practical models, bringing activities “studying and following Uncle Ho’s teachings” into women’s daily life. Noticeably, they upheld the effectiveness of models on thrift practice among women in association with social welfare.

Provincial Women’s Unions at all levels also effectively implemented many programs on civilized urban and new rural construction. Overr the past nine months, they gave 4 houses of compassion, upgraded 2 houses for poor households; donated nearly 750 gifts to needy people…They also continued launching a movement of raising piggybanks; organized “Giving strength to school” activities for poor-but-excellent pupils on the occasion of the 2018-2019 new academic year; opened vocational training courses for more than 110 women…
Especially, provincial Women’s Union actively carried out many main programs for the period of 2018-2020; coordinated with provincial Department of Agriculture-Rural Development and Farmers’ Association to mobilize people to make and trade safe products for the community’s health for the period of 2018-2020; launched a special emulation movement of “Accompanying women in border areas for the period of 2018-2020”. Accordingly, provincial Women’s Union offered gifts, scholarships and houses of compassion to poor-but-excellent pupils, the offspring of border soldiers, policy beneficiary families, members of the Women’s Union of Quang Truc commune in Tuy Duc district in the central highlands province of Dak Nong with a total expense of VND150million.
Such these apart, provincial Women’s Unions at all levels set up small traders’ clubs, district-level businesswomen’s clubs; set up a club on “women with food safety” and provincial Intellectual Women’s Association. They also attached special importance to disseminating the Party and State’s policies, guidelines and laws, especially the Law on Marriage-Family, the Law on Domestic Violence Prevention…; organized meetings for female workers, aiming to raise their knowledge on prevention of epidemic diseases, family planning, happy family building…
Upholding results done, provincial Women’s Union will further strengthen propaganda work, grasp women’s aspirations, especially attach special importance to law dissemination among female workers, female lodging proprietors and businesswomen; implement the plan of organizing the apparatus of Women’s Unions at all levels under the spirit of the Resolution of the 12th Party Central Committee’s 6th session; opportunely instruct its branches to fulfill the set targets in 2018; recheck the realization of 9 criteria, 3 major tasks of the whole sector; implement programs for the period of 2018-2020, bringing practical efficiency to cadres and members.
