Provincial Women's Unions at all levels organize many activities to support poor workers

Due to the complicated situation of the COVID-19, Women's Union (WU) at all levels in the province has had many ways to support workers in daily activities and disease prevention and control.

Women's Union in Di An ward (Di An city) give gifts to poor workers.

Recently,  Women's Union of Khanh Binh ward (Tan Uyen town) presented  1,000 antibacterial medical masks to workers in this ward; and encouraged people to wear medical masks in public areas in accordance with regulations Besides, the union also distributed 120 leaflets on the COVID-10  prevention control and instructed the proper hand washing steps according to the 5K message of the Ministry of Health; popularized  how to recognize, symptoms of infection, helped people better understand the COVID-19. This meaningful activity contributed to raising workers’ awareness of disease prevention and control among workers.

In medical isolation areas such as Di An ward (Di An city), local  Women's Union collaborated with unions to encourage benefactors and gave 83 gifts to workers in the quarantine area, each gift had rice, noodles, fish sauce, soy sauce, sugar, fruits, vegetables... In addition, the Women's Union also gave 20 gifts to women workers in difficult circumstances, distributed more than 200 leaflets about COVID-19, 600 medical masks to prevent and control the disease. Women's Union of Binh Minh 2 quarter under the ward also gave 75 gifts to lottery ticket sellers and scrap dealers in the area.

In Hiep An ward (Thu Dau Mot city) a group of the ward Women's Union cooked 430 free meals for poor workers in the city. This is a meaningful and practical activity, contributing to  spreading solidarity spirit, the prevention and control of the COVID-19.
