In celebration of the 94th founding anniversary of the Vietnam National United Front and the Vietnam Fatherland Front’s Traditional Day (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2024) as well as the 64th founding anniversary of the National Liberation Front of Southern Vietnam (December 20, 1960 - December 20, 2024), Binh Duc 1 quarter in Thuan An city’s Lai Thieu ward held the great national unity festival on the morning of November 3. Nguyen Loc Ha, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of provincial People's Committee attended the festival.
In 2024, Binh Duc 1 quarter successfully carried out the “All people uniting to build civilized urban and newly-style rural areas” campaign. This effort contributed to promoting democracy, socio-economic development, ensuring social order-safety and enhancing residents’ quality of life.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Ha praised achievements done by the quarter. He also expressed his hope that the people of Binh Duc 1 quarter would further unite, preserve and promote national cultural identities, join forces to build civilized urban and new-style rural areas; foster democracy and abide by the law; contribute to building up a clean and strong Party and government; create a self-managed, united, prosperous and happy residential area; encouraged people to actively participate in patriotic emulation movements initiated by the local authorities...
On this occasion, provincial leaders presented 10 gifts to poor and near-poor residents in Binh Duc 1 quarter. Lai Thieu ward also recognized exemplary families who made significant contributions to the local movements in 2024.
*On November 2, Hoa Nhut quarter in Tan Uyen city’s Tan Vinh Hiep ward held its 2024 great national unity festival. The “All people uniting to build a cultural lifestyle” movement has been actively promoted to each household, with enthusiastic support from residents. Residents and businesses in the quarter contributed over VND 225 million to such projects as installing street lighting systems, building welcome gates, setting up propaganda posters, placing national flags along roads…
During the event, Tan Vinh Hiep ward’s People’s Committee awarded the certificates of merit to seven exemplary cultural families of 2024. There were 33 gifts worth VND17.5million given for disadvantaged households from leaders of Tan Uyen city, Tan Vinh Hiep ward and Hoa Nhut quarter.
*On the same day, Vinh Truong quarter in Tan Vinh Hiep ward also celebrated the 2024 great national unity festival with meaningful activities.
