Early December 10, Que Huong charity center held a ceremony to mark its 17th anniversary (December 10, 2001-December 10, 2018), in attendance of Truong My Hoa, former Vice President.
During the past 17 years, the center received special attention from central and local leaders together with the whole society, thereby helping it become a humanitarian address for orphan and disadvantaged children. The center now covers 1 hectare with functional rooms, serving more than 300 children. Especially, it has a school for the local children with difficult circumstances.
The center also offered 76,000 gifts, 2,820 scholarships, more than 20,000 wheelchairs, 1,040 bicycles…to people with difficult circumstances nationwide.
On this occasion, the Central Committee of Vietnam Red Cross Society awarded the certificates of merit to the center and individuals with contributions to the local social charity activities.
