Que Huong charity center, on December 10, held a ceremony to mark its 15th anniversary (December 10, 2001-December 12, 2016), in attendance of Truong My Hoa, former Vice President, Chairwoman of the “Vu A Dinh” scholarship fund and Dang Minh Hung, Vice Chairman of provincial People’s Committee.

Under the support of the society, the center has developed constantly after 15 years of establishment. It has so far ensured accommodations, vocational training for disadvantaged children, especially built a kindergarten, a primary school and received additional 2 new facilities in Dong Nai and Binh Thuan. Along with bringing up 339 children, the center over the past time donated wheelchairs, bicycles, houses of compassion to the disadvantaged.
On this occasion, it also presented 1,000 gifts worth VND200,000 each, 50 scholarships worth VND1million each, 10 wheelchairs to the disadvantaged. The Central Committee of Vietnam Red Cross Society also awarded the certificates of merit to 38 collectives and 35 individuals. Huynh Tieu Huong, Director of the center was also presented the memento “For the humanitarian cause”.
