Que Huong charity center, on December 10, held a ceremony to mark its 12th anniversary (December 10, 2001-December 10, 2013).
After its 12-year establishment and development, under the support of the whole society, Que Huong charity center has been sufficiently equipped with mess hall, nursery, vocational training room, housing section…The center now brings up 330 disabled and orphan children. Besides, the center has actively got involved in social charity activities, including donating gratitude houses to policy beneficiary families, awarding scholarships to poor pupils, offering assistance to poor people…
On this occasion, the province donated VND50mln to the center. Rotary Internationals also gave the center an ambulance. Under the support of donors, the center also presented 2,000 gifts worth VND200mln to the disabled and children with difficulties; awarded 50 scholarships worth VND1mln each to poor pupils; donated 100 wheelchairs and 10 bicycles to the disabled and orphan children.
