According to provincial Farmers’ Association, in 2015, the association and affiliates established 9 more clubs of "Farmers with law", increasing this number by 50 clubs with 1,941 officers and members. Clubs have based on characteristics of each locality to maintain regular meetings and activities. At meetings, members were equipped with knowledge of current laws, like: Law on Land, Complaints and Denunciations, Crime, Marriage And Family...
In addition to legal contents, clubs coordinated with Farmers’ Association, Legal Aid Centre to organize 42 sessions of legal assistance and legal dissemination for 1,240 members, 147 cases were counseled; delivered 12,570 brochures and leaflets; 62 handbooks of marriage law...
As a result, legal awareness of officials, members has changed obviously. Reconciliation cases at grassroots level obtained high results, limiting disputes and conflicts among the people. Lam Van Hoa, Deputy Chairman of provincial Farmers’ Association, said clubs were a place for not only gathering officials, members, people but also conveying legal knowledge to people, helping them to become active communicators, and to know how to use laws for protecting legitimate rights and interests of themselves.
