Rapid response group on tracing contacts, taking samples for Covid-19 testing

On July 14, provincial Department of Health made a decision on the establishment of a rapid response group on tracing contacts, taking samples for Covid-19 testing. The group consists of 5 members, led by doctor Huynh Thanh Ha, Deputy Director of provincial Department of Health.

The group is responsible for setting up plans for tracing contacts, making rapid response procedures to take samples for Covid-19 testing; supporting and guiding localities to carry out sampling activities; providing them with guidance on testing and application of appropriate tests and biological products; guiding them to ensure biosafety, manage appropriate sampling and testing data; directing them to make investigation, tracing, zoning and sampling process for rapid response to Covid-19 prevention and control…

It will also directly organize and coordinate the local teams and units to trace contacts, zone and realize procedures to take testing samples for rapid response to promptly stamp out the pandemic; instruct relevant units to synthesize the local needs for drugs, chemicals, vaccines, biological products, medical supplies, equipment, funding, and propose competent authorities for decision, ensuring timely supply for units and localities in Covid-19 prevention and control.

It is known that the group is on duty around the clock, instructing and directly participating in contact tracing, zoning, and rapid response testing procedures for the local Covid-19 prevent and control.
