Reality experiences for youngster growth

Young people need to balance learning and entertainment to accumulate enough for the future. In order to support the comprehensive development of students, the School Boards are also interested in organizing contests, field trips, art events, etc. in addition to improving the level of teaching and facilities to help them be quickly mature and become more confident.

The 10th and 11th graders from Vo Minh Duc High School participate in a pancake-making activity during their trip to Lan Vuong eco-tourism area in Ben Tre province.

Currently, it is easy to see videos with art performances by young people still at schooling ages on social network. Not to mention the professional factors, enthusiasm and confidence of youths is what we can honor.

In addition, trips are also organized by schools for students to have the opportunity to experience. Students will be planning far away trips to meet and expose themselves new things. During the travel schedule, the Organizing Committee often chooses to stop at a place of historical significance to help the students understand more about the sacrifices and learn valuable lessons of the previous generation. In addition, it is possible to mention fashion contests, recycled items, and sports festivals that are held annually with various levels and scales from schools to the whole country.

There are also bonfire nights or guaranteed overnight camping trips for students to imprint the best memories, especially on the seniors for their confident ladder of careers. Recently, Vo Minh Duc High School in Thu Dau Mot city organized a visit to Lan Vuong Eco-tourism Area in Ben Tre province for its 11th and 12th graders. The trip, in addition to the medical examination, included the discovering of the characteristics of the new land where the students also participated in recreational activities of fishing, shaking bridge, pancake making, among others.

On the way, students of the school visited the Rach Gam - Xoai Mut Victory Monument in Kim Son commune of Chau Thanh district in Tien Giang province – a historic area and a milestone marking the glorious victory over 40,000 Siamese invaders of the Tay Son Dynasty also one of the greatest and most illustrious battles of the Vietnamese people in the history of defending foreign invaders.

Not only did the students visit and learn about the nation's history, but the school also decided to choose this place to organize the admission of students to the Youth Unions, which is a precious personal honor for each person. Sharing with us, Thanh Thu, a student of Class 10.5 of Vo Minh Duc High School, said: “This is my first trip since entering high school. Besides playing time and experiencing activities, we also understand more about the history and origin of the country. I hope to have more trips like this to experience and broaden my horizons and understanding.”
