Red Cross’s emulation cluster of the southeast provinces: In 2023, the value of social humanitarian activities reaches more than VND559 billion

On November 28, Binh Duong Provincial Red Cross Society in coordination with Red Cross’s emulation cluster of the Southeast provinces (referred to as Emulation Cluster No. 7) held a conference to summarize works and movements of the Southeast provinces in 2023. Attending the conference were Huynh Thi Xuan Lam, Vice President of the Central Vietnam Red Cross Association, in charge of directing Emulation Cluster No. 7; Bui Thanh Nhan, Member of Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of Provincial Party Mass Mobilization Committee; Nguyen Loc Ha, Member of Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Thi My Hang, Chairwoman of Provincial Fatherland Front Committee.

In 2023, Emulation Cluster No. 7 has successfully completed its assigned tasks. Specifically, to implement the "Tet of Kindness" movement - Quy Mao Spring 2023, Red Cross Associations in the campaign cluster called for donations of total value VND156 billion 432 million, helping 360,876 people. Additionally, as implementing Humanitarian Month 2023, Red Cross Associations in the cluster mobilized organizations, individuals, and benefactors to help over 174,400 people, with a total support value of VND64.4 billion... Total value of the cluster's social humanitarian activities implemented in 2023 are more than VND559 billion.

Speaking at the conference, Ha hoped that Red Cross Associations of the Southeast provinces would continue to comprehensively develop Red Cross activities and movements in the Southeast region, affirming its strengths in general humanitarian movement of the whole country.
