Relief extended to community hit by natural disasters

In Quang Nam Province, Nari Storm lasted for 8 hours from the night of October 14 to afternoon of October 15, battering coastal lines, river banks, and mountainous regions of Quang Nam Province, leaving 8 dead, 23,512 houses torn-roofed, 7,547 houses collapsed, 773 houses flooded, 9,600 ha of food crops damaged, schooling and traffic facilities damaged, 74 boats sunk or damage, etc. causing totally loss of up to VND 700 billion. The commune was populated with 96% of Cor people in 2,000 people community. Receiving the kind donation of the team, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Quang, Chair of Da Nang City Fatherland Front Committee, on behalf of local victims, thanked the leaders and people of Binh Duong Province for timely sharing with storm-hit communities in middle land of Vietnam in the two havoc storms.
