On October 30, Mr. Nguyen Loc Ha, Member of Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Bui Thanh Nhan, Member of Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Mass Mobilization Committee, chaired a meeting to listen to reports on difficulties, obstacles, recommendations and proposals of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, socio-political organizations and mass organizations in the province; including the implementation of Project 02 on "Mass mobilization work to participate in building a cultural and civilized lifestyle" and implementing "Civilized Saturday" in the province.
Accordingly, the units presented difficulties, problems and made some recommendations, such as: to arrange more staff for the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee to meet the volume and requirements of the new situation; need to have specific regulations, increase the administrative expenditure quota, increase the staff quota for all levels of Binh Duong Trade Union; instruct the spending of funds to support teams, groups, and volunteer youth groups participating in community digital transformation...
Also at the meeting, delegates discussed some issues related to Project 02. Localities and units recommended that there should be sanctions to thoroughly handle the posting of advertising leaflets on electric poles, electricity posts, and public places; costs for people to participate in connecting to the wastewater collection and treatment system; there should be regulations of a penal nature to be able to deter and thoroughly handle violations of urban civilization...
During the meeting, Mr. Nhan stated that the Provincial Steering Committee for Project 02 will conduct a re-survey of the indicators to better align them with current realities. Mr. Ha emphasized the significance of Project 02 as a key initiative aimed at transforming Binh Duong into a smart, modern, and civilized city with a favorable and livable environment. The project will focus on promoting awareness, mobilizing community involvement, and fostering habits that contribute to building a cultural and civilized living environment. Mr. Ha recommended that departments, branches, and localities should review the proposals and recommendations from various agencies and units, taking into account their specific functions and responsibilities. He emphasized the importance of providing clear written instructions and responses to address the challenges and obstacles they are encountering.
