On the afternoon of July 31st, provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission held a conference to review the mass mobilization work for the first six months of the year and implement tasks for the last six months of 2024. The conference was attended by Nguyen Van Loc, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of provincial People's Council; Bui Thanh Nhan, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee’s Mass Mobilization Commission; Nguyen Loc Ha, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of provincial People's Committee; leaders of provincial Fatherland Front Committee, departments and sectors.
In the first six months of the year, Party committees and organizations at all levels focused on leading and directing mass mobilization work. The local mass mobilization work saw positive changes, particularly in continuing administrative procedure reforms. The mass mobilization work of provincial Fatherland Front, political-social organizations and Red Cross Society continued improving in contents and methods, strongly focusing on the grassroots, implementing many effective and practical programs. Notably, since early this year, provincial Party Committee’s Mass Mobilization Commission effectively implemented the Project No.02 on "Mass mobilization participating in building a cultural and civilized lifestyle" in the province, for the period of 2021-2025, in association with the implementation of "Civilized Saturday"...
Mr. Nhan requested the province’s mass mobilization sector to further advise and direct further innovation in the contents and methods of activities of the Fatherland Front Committee, political-social organizations in grasping the people's situation; maintain and effectively implement the Project No.02 and "Civilized Saturday" under the set program and plan; improving the quality of "Civilized Saturday" activities, studying and summarizing practical experience to propose solutions to make "Civilized Saturday" a regular and systematic activity...
In his speech at the conference, Mr. Loc spoke highly of the results of mass mobilization work by all-level authorities, sectors, units and localities in ensuring social welfare; mobilizing people to unite in implementing the province's key projects... To further enhance this work's effectiveness, he suggested expanding cooperation with mass organizations, political organizations, and businesses to jointly conduct mass mobilization work, including creating more roads "State, people and businesses working together”...
On this occasion, provincial People's Committee awarded the certificates of merit to 15 collectives and 16 individuals for their outstanding achievements in coordinating and implementing mass mobilization work in the province from 2019 to 2023.
