That was the unanimous opinion of the members of the Steering Committee for Covid-19 Control and Prevention in the morning of March 12. Nguyen Loc Ha, Standing Member of Binh Duong provincial Party Committee cum Deputy Chairman of Binh Duong provincial People's Committee chaired the meeting.
At the meeting, members of the Steering Committee for Covid-19 Control and Prevention agreed to allow non-essential business services to reopen to normal states (except karaoke, bars, discos) and must ensure the disease prevention and control conditions, strictly comply with the Health Ministry's "5K" recommendation and especially mask wearing when going out in public and to crowded places.
According to the Department of Health, as of March 12, Binh Duong has gone through 34 days without a new Covid-19 infection in the community. Binh Duong has well controlled the epidemic and is in a low risk area, which is good news. However, the epidemic situation in the world is still complicated.
Deputy Chairman of Binh Duong provincial People's Committee Nguyen Loc Ha emphasized at the meeting: In the face of the new situation, each sector, each locality, each and each enterprise needs to establish a new normal situation in life and economic activities to gradually return to normal society. Therefore, economic recovery at all levels, branches and localities should be an important priority task but we must not be subjective and disregard for epidemic developments. Measures to prevent and control the epidemic should be continued to be ready to respond when there are positive cases in the community; to strictly implement epidemic prevention and control measures and follow the recommended "5K" of Ministry of Health, especially the wearing masks in public and crowded places. Department of Health continues to strengthen capacity of the prevention and control system along with monitoring and updating the epidemic situation; to consistently implement 6 principles of disease prevention and control (preventing, detecting, isolating, localizing, suppressing and effective treating); to strictly follow the "5K" message; to plan for organizing the reception and vaccination of Covid-19 for all people in Binh Duong province.
In the short term, Binh Duong will receive 1,700 doses of Astra Zeneca vaccine issued by Ministry of Health. Branches and localities need to resume activities in a new normal state according to the guidance in Decision No. 3888/QD-BYT of Ministry of Health on “Guidance on prevention and control of Covid-19 epidemic in the community in a new normal state ”, focusing mainly on the following contents: prevention and control of Covid-19 epidemic in households, apartment, schools, headquarter, on public transport, at trade centers and supermarkets, in industrial zones and factories, at food and drink service establishments and at wholesale and local markets. Meetings of more than 30 people, when organizing the implementation, need to strictly follow the guidelines of Ministry of Health.
