Almost every day, the Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee and its member organizations from the province to the locality have activities to support and give gifts to ensure that people do not lack food so that they can rest assured to stay wherever they are.
As one of the localities with a high number of Covid-19 infection cases, Tan Uyen town has implemented "lockdown and freeze" in 7 wards. In order to effectively implement the measure of "staying wherever you are" and ensure the lives of people in the "red zone" localities with the motto of "not letting anyone go hungry", Tan Uyen town has synchronously and drastically implemented many solutions to carry out many supporting activities so that people who could not leave their homes still be provided with, resupplied and purchase food for daily life.
Ms. Le Thi Ut, Head of the town Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee, and Chairwoman of the Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee of Tan Uyen town, said that up to now, the social security packages of the government and the province to support people in the area have been basically approved for completion. In addition, the town's Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee and its member organizations and localities have also mobilized resources in the society and organized activities to support people affected by the Covid-19 epidemic in their localities, especially people living in hardship in the lockdown areas, workers far from home to stay in the motels for Covid-19 prevention and control.

According to Ms. Le Thi Ut, as of August 30, Tan Uyen town has approved to support 462,119 people who are self-employed workers living in motels and disadvantaged workers by the packages of government and provincial support. Particularly, the town's Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee, in the past 3 days, has also spent from mobilizing resources to buy more goods, food and necessities to help about 16,000 people.
Meanwhile, Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Phuong, Chairwoman of the Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee in Thuan An city, said that in addition to the supporting packages of the State, the Fatherland Front and member organizations have also increased the mobilization of essential goods and food to further support people who are facing difficulties in localities, especially the "red zone" areas. From July 25 to August 30, the city's Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee received more than 3,040 tons of rice, 567,395 tons of vegetables and fruits, 11,547 boxes of noodles, porridge, vermicelli, 174,600 eggs, 3,565kg of fresh meat and fish, 12,613 gifts and many other necessities. The total value of goods received is nearly VND 22 billion VND.
The mobilization of all resources from the State budget to social resources to take care of people affected by the Covid-19 epidemic is being practiced by all levels, branches and socio-political organizations in the locality. The province focuses on implementing and bringing about practical results. Social security packages have been quickly deployed to help the poor, unemployed workers and other disadvantaged people in society ensure a basic life amid the Covid-19 pandemic. Along with that, the Fatherland Front system and mass organizations have also mobilized resources in the society to take care of and provide additional support for disadvantaged people.
Ms. Tran Thi Kim Lan, Deputy Chairwoman of the provincial Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee, said that over the past time, the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee has coordinated to distribute goods and necessities to support people in localities including the priority for the "locked and frozen" areas and those who are in difficulties. For all goods received from the source and supported by the provinces and cities, the Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee of the province has a clear and specific distribution plan. For the "red zones" that are still in difficulties, the government, the Fatherland Front Committee or member organizations at the grassroots level propose to the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee to balance the mobilization sources to transfer to support those localities in a timely manner to ensure that people do not suffer from food shortages.
Along with the Fatherland Front system and socio-political organizations such as the provincial Trade Union, provincial Red Cross, provincial Women's Union and so on have also actively campaigned for more resources to support people and workers who are facing difficulties due to the Covid-19 epidemic. Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Trinh, Chairwoman of the provincial Red Cross Association, said that the mobilization of resources to take care of disadvantaged people in the province affected by the Covid-19 epidemic is always supported by the Red Cross.
