On April 20, the Red Cross of Binh Duong province held a session of VND 0 market in April to share with people in difficult circumstances and vulnerable people. Attending the fair was Nguyen Van Loc, Standing Member, Head of the provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization, Chairman of the provincial Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee, Nguyen Truong Nhat Phuong – Deputy Chairman of the provincial People's Council.
In order to spread the movement of "Good people and good deeds - Working together to build a compassionate community", the market session organized by the provincial Red Cross this time continues to receive the attention and support of many people, units, businesses, organizations and benefactors for resources with a variety of goods, food, and necessities for people. Based on donations, this session has supported 500 vouchers to go to the market for the blind, disabled, self-employed, and disadvantaged people in Thu Dau Mot city, Thuan An city and Tan Uyen city. Each market voucher is worth about VND 1,250,000 for items such as rice, milk, cooking oil, sugar, seasoning seeds, fruits, vegetables and many essential consumer items for life. The total value of the fair is over VND 600 million.
Speaking at the fair, Nguyen Van Loc acknowledged and praised the efforts of departments, agencies and mass organizations, especially the provincial Red Cross in mobilizing resources to maintain regular support for 0people in need. On behalf of the provincial leaders, he thanked the donors who have supported and accompanied the Fatherland Front, mass organizations and the Red Cross during the past time; at the same time, he hoped to continue to receive more support from donors in the future.
