On June 16th, provincial Department of Education – Training summed up the 10th-grade entrance examination of the 2015-2016 school year. The results showed that the quality of this year's exam was improved remarkably. Secondary schools were acquainted with new assessment approaches. Namely, the number of tests from 5 points or more in math reached 43%, in literature reached 60.1%, and in English was 44.5%. According to board of examiners, most pupils understood requirements of the literature test, some pupils even added their emotions and expanded the topic. At the English test, most pupils mastered skills to complete the test, some expressed their creativity in reading and writing part.
In the 2015-2016 academic year, Department of Education – Training will recruit over 9,200 pupils for 27 public high schools. Benchmark points will be announced in the coming week.
