Early Mar.20, provincial Youth Union in collaboration with Ben Cat town’s Youth Union organized a reunion program-giving strength to young workers with the theme of “Being proud of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union members”
The program was started by a ceremony handing over Youth Union cards to 85 members who were admitted on the evening of Mar.19. It also set up a club connecting young workers; presented support packages worth VND2mln each from provincial Support Fund for Extremely Difficult Young Workers to 2 cases.
The program also took place with such significant activities as providing free medical check-ups and medicine; giving vocational consultancy, job introduction; organizing games; selling sale-off goods; kicking off contests on flower arrangement, karaoke singing…, absorbing thousands of young workers.
All the above practical activities contributed to taking care of Youth Union members and young workers’ spiritual and material lives; strengthening a task of gathering and unitizing youngsters; creating useful playgrounds for them, raising their awareness of participating in activities of the Youth Union.
*The same day, provincial Business Bloc’s Youth Union held a reunion program to mark the 85th founding anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (Mar.26, 1931-Mar.26, 2016).
The program took place with animated activities, including a cross-country run entitled “Festive day for healthy youth” with the participation of nearly 200 athletes, a contest “I’m a Youth Union official”…The bloc’s Youth Union also called for Youth Union members to raise money for building a house of compassion, respond to volunteer activities for the sake of the community, offer help to needy cases to express the spirit of “Youth living beautifully, living usefully”.
*Also on Mar.20, TDM city’s Youth Federation held a reunion program to celebrate the 85th founding anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.
The program absorbed nearly 300 Youth Union members. Coming to the program, they had a chance to participate in fun-filled games like tug-of-war, bag jumping, watch a documentary film on Phu Loi prison…Additional 85 outstanding youngsters were also admitted into the Youth Union.
