Review and re-plan the school network, encourage socialization of education

On the morning of October 25, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) held an online conference to summarize the socialization work on consolidating schools, classrooms and public housing for teachers in the period 2013-2023, tasks and solutions in the coming time. Attending the conference was Mr. Le Thanh Long, Deputy Prime Minister. According to the report of the MOET, in the period 2013-2023, the system of school facilities, classrooms and teachers' housing made significant progress. By the end of 2023, the country achieved a rate of solid classrooms of 86.6%, an increase of more than 20% compared to 2013. In Binh Duong, the province's educational socialization has been maintained and promoted effectively. The network of non-public schools is developing well and sustainably. The number of non-public schools by the end of the 2023-2024 school year was 347 schools, accounting for 47.66%. The province also developed a roadmap for investing in schools for the 2021-2025 period and the following years to meet the learning demands of children in the province. As of June 2024, the entire industry completed 12 more school projects, including new construction, upgrading, and renovation, with a total investment of more than 713 billion VND, adding 266 new classrooms...
