In order to successfully realize the "dual goal", Binh Duong has taken measures to prevent and control Covid-19 epidemic in a new normal state. Currently, households, apartments, commercial centers, factories, establishments, and officeshave made positive adjustments by changing their habits to live safely with Covid-19.

Strict observation of prevention and control requirements
Currently, production and business activities in the province have returned to normal, but people continue to strictly implement measures to prevent and control Covid-19. As reported by our reporters at supermarkets and service stores, the staff always require their customers to wear masks, measure body temperature and perform hand-wash before buying; at the same time, safe distance of travel and payments with staff have been maintained.
Customers are in compliance with the epidemic prevention measures to protect their own health and the community. Meanwhile, in parks and squares, people have come to practice sports but always at a certain distance to strictly comply with wearing masks and requests for epidemic prevention. Nguyen Thi Mui, a resident at Group 5 of Phu Hoa ward in Thu Dau Mot city, said: “Since the epidemic happened, I have complied with the regulations on wearing mask when I go to public places and now it has become a habit. I also install applications to trace and report medical data; I regularly wash hands, disinfect and clean the house to proactively prevent Covid-19 .”
It can be affirmed that the current implementation of measures to prevent and control Covid-19 epidemic under the direction of the government and the province has been strictly followed by the people. They have changed their habits instead of celebrating birthdays or dining at restaurants and shops; many people have actively bought and taken away, conducted online shopping and often wear masks. Meanwhile, for the elderly, who are vulnerable to Covid-19, they avoid going to crowded places, eat nutritious food, and do light and moderate sports and exercise. The elderly are always aware that when they have chronic illnesses, they will be susceptible to Covid-19 infection and whenever there is any change in their bodies, they should notify their doctors or go to the medical offices as soon as possible.
Safe life with the pandemic
Nguyen Loc Ha, Standing Member of Binh Duong provincial Party Committee and Deputy Chairman of Binh Duong provincial People's Committee, said that in order to live safely with the Covid-19 epidemic, the whole political system and every citizen of Binh Duong need to continue to thoroughly implement the guidance on prevention and control of Covid-19 epidemic in the community in the new normal state" of Ministry of Health, namely, the strict implementation of the 5K message of Ministry of Health. If people are subjective, the anti-epidemic solutions would be ineffective. Depending on the field of activities, the units, departments and branches have their own requirements for safe living with the epidemic.
Continuing to thoroughly grasp the viewpoint of "fighting epidemic is like fighting an enemy", departments, agencies, units, localities and people are absolutely not subjective, indifferent, especially in the face of unpredictable developments of the pandemic; to promote internal strength andmobilize the strength of the whole province to continue overcoming difficulties and restoring production and business activities to a new normal state while safety from Covid-19 epidemic is ensured. Binh Duong provincial Department of Health must coordinate with relevant sectors to develop plans and schemes to receive foreign specialist in Binh Duong and implement quarantine and health monitoring according to regulations. For Vietnamese citizens who return home under the coordination of Military Region 7, right after their entry, they must move to the segregated concentrated areas and organize the safe reception.
In fact, in administrative and non-business agencies, offices, units are available to regularly measure body temperature and ensure hand disinfection for their staff before entering the offices. In public administrative centers of districts, towns and cities, officials and employees voluntarily make medical declarations, wash hands, and wear masks throughout the process of working and meeting. These units also minimize the meeting and increase the application of information technology to exchange work; if there is a meeting, it is ensured that everyone should keep a distance. When living with Covid-19 epidemic, direct transactions decreases while electronic transactions, non-cash payments are encouraged to thrive.
In industrial zones, factories and establishments, enterprises are also particularly interested in ensuring the safety of their workers. In addition to conventional measures such as checking body temperature, wearing masks, and hand sanitation, businesses also implement safety principles in the collective kitchens by requiring workers to keep distances. In case the workers are too crowded, the meal time is set into different time frames to avoid gathering of too many people at the same time. Nguyen Dinh Khanh, Deputy Chairman of Binh Duong provincial Trade Union said: “In the spirit of living safely with the epidemic, Binh Duong provincial Trade Union attaches the requirements to the movements of month of action on safety and hygiene. Therefore, companies and enterprises have many ways to ensure safety in production and business operations.”
